Brendan T Quann was born in Brooklyn, New York, and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1964. He spent twelve years on active duty in the United States Army, serving two tours in Southeast Asia. In 1973, he obtained his law degree from the University of Iowa where he was Order of the Coif, and was admitted to the Iowa Bar that same year. He joined the firm in 1976. Brendan is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa. He is a member of the American, Iowa State, and Dubuque County Bar Associations, the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, Inc., the National Diocesan Attorneys Association, and serves on the Selection Committee for Appointments to the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, and the United States Air Force Academy. He was Past President of the West Point Society of the Prairies and the Mississippi Valley Running Association. Brendan serves on the Board of Trustees for Clarke College. He is a past President of the Dubuque County Bar Association. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Iowa State Bar Association, representing District 1A. His general practice includes, but is not limited to the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, labor and employment law, and workers' compensation.
