Attorneys
Thomas S Collins was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He received his Bachelors degree in Accounting in 1983, followed by a Masters degree in Accounting in 1985, both from the University of Iowa. Tom worked in California and Iowa as a Certified Public Accountant from 1985-88 and has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Business at Loras College in Dubuque since 1988. He returned to the University of Iowa in 1995, receiving his law degree in 1997. Tom was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1998 and worked as a part-time Associate with the firm from 1998-2003. He is a member of the American, Iowa State, and Dubuque County Bar Associations, and is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Iowa College of Law. Tom now serves the firm as an of counsel attorney who practices primarily in, but is not limited to the areas of corporation and business law, real estate, and taxation.
