Reiners was born in Waterloo, Iowa.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.  In 2005, Emily received her Juris Doctorate with honors from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she was the President of the Moot Court Board and member of Drake Law Women and the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.  She joined the firm in 2005, upon admission to the Iowa Bar.  Emily is a member of the American, Iowa State and Dubuque County Bar Associations and the Iowa Organization of Women Attorneys.
