Adam J. Babinat


Adam J. Babinat was born in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2017, Adam received his law degree with honors from the Drake University Law School. At Drake, he worked as a student attorney at the Neal and Bea Smith Legal Clinic, and was the Publications Editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. While with the Journal of Agricultural Law, he published “Ensuring Indemnity: Why Insurers Should Cease the Practice of Depreciating Labor.” Adam also competed in Drake’s Supreme Court Day Competition, where he was among four finalists and awarded the best brief in the appellate advocacy competition. He joined the firm in 2017 upon being admitted to the Iowa Bar. Adam’s general practice includes but is not limited to labor and employment law, business law, personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal defense, and related litigation.
